Custom Mobile Game App - promotional purposes

Custom App Development:

The idea of this game, is to have it showcase and bring people to our booth at tradeshows, and attract attention of people walking by. We would draw a prize for biggest fish caught throughout a day, and award a prize to the winner each day.

About the App:

We are seeking someone to create a custom application for promotion of our business, you will be responsible for design, coding and implementation of the app so it is ready to be loaded on a device and used at a trade show.

We are seeking a ‘fishing game’ where the interface will look similar to ( ex: [login to view URL] ). Once the game is loaded on the tablet, users will be responsible for trying to ‘catch’ a fish by taping on one, and following it around for a certain amount of seconds on the screen. The difficultly should be medium-easy. Once the fish is initially touched, the device should vibrate and perhaps some sort of bar can pop up showing how much time remains until the fish is ‘caught’ ( ex: [login to view URL] )

Once the fish is caught, a message will pop up with ‘Congratulations! You caught a (breed of fish here) and the total weight is (random 1-15) pounds, and (1-12) ounces. The fish breeds should be relative to North America (Pike, Small Mouth Bass, etc…)

The game MUST be branded to our business, a NDA will be required before the business name is released, this can be discussed after the fact.

Information requested when bidding:

- Time till prototype can be tested – plus an idea how long it will take to finalize the game

- What platforms it will be developed for.

- Measures taken to ensure game crashes are handled appropriately

- If any of the optional extras are included in your quote or not.

- Links to any previously developed apps

Optional Extras (being able to meet these, will allow us to increase our base budget):

Information Capture – The ability to require users to enter their details and track each individuals scores as the game is played, preferably via a MySQL database that can be called by a PHP script separately to show the live results on a website with another device. (leaderboards) Name + email would be the ideal captures…

Extra Branding – Added unique ways of branding the game, to ensure our brand is showcased, either being unique ways to display results, or draw attention to the game. (sounds must be kept minimal)

Background switching – Ability to switch the background of the game to a different pond

Difficulty switching – Ability to make it easier/harder to catch a fish.
