Voting / Competition Registration ————————————————————— Competition Registration People / companies can register to join the competition. When they register, they can select multiple categories they wish to enter. For example: Best Hair Salon Best Hairdresser Most Stylish Hair Salon The person should enter their details and select the categories. Each category should have a registration fee to pay. Categories can be added and deleted in the admin panel and a fee for each category can be set. Category fees are paid by paypal during registration. When person has registered to be in the competition, the system will generate a unique code for the person for each category they have entered into. This code can then be used to ‘quick vote’ using http GET i.e. [login to view URL] This will allow for us to use text message voting. The person should be able to see which categories they have entered, and upload photos for voters to see their work against each category. It will also generate a page where users can go on and see how well the person is doing, leave comments and even cast a vote for each category the person is it. Competition Main Page The main page is where users can go on and see the categories, and a list of people who have entered the competition to allow them to see the photos uploaded and cast votes. Users can register to vote on here. It should ask for users Name, Address, Email & Mobile Phone Number. A text message should be sent to the customers phone with a 4 digit code to verify the phone number. They will need to enter the 4 digit code before the account is verified. (SMS Sending Function already built.. no coding needed) Competition Admin Page Admin page should allow creation of categories, adding competition registrations, and fully manage the votes, see leaderboards etc for each category. Each category can have more than 1 winner. The winners for SOME categories will be split up by ‘Overall Winner’ and ‘Regional Winners’ based on the region selected at registration. When adding a category there should be an option for ‘Allow Regional Winners’ which breaks the leaderboards down into Overall Winner and Regional Winners. If this is not ticked then only Overall Winner leaderboard is displayed in admin panel for this category. The admin team will be able to add and remove regions from the panel i.e. (South West Scotland, Central Scotland etc) Export to excel functions for votes should be available. Admin can open/close the ability to register for the competition. Admin can suspend registrants from receiving any more votes if they feel they need to.
