We want to use the image in our Italian food business. The domesticated Asian water buffalo is the source of the milk from which the best Italian mozzarella is made. The distinctive low-slung horns on the side of each animal’s head are much used by the mozzarella dairies in southern Italy on packaging and in logos. (A very different configuration from the - perhaps - more famous African buffalo) The heritage quality of this image is important to us. By way of an example - ‘St John Bread & Wine’ - the famous london food/restaurant business - have a logo which includes a pig, which echoes classic 19th century engravings/ wood cuts, familiar to students of agricultural history in the UK (Arthur Young et al). I'm graduated in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon University (Portugal), one of Europe's best Fine Arts University.
