ASP Website setup on Google Search Engine

We have recently set up a local ASP website, following a international template for our business. Now we need to get it set up on Google Search Engine to start building local traffic to the site. We would like the project to be a one off initial set up project, and if we're happy with the job, there is a potential for a stage 2 SEO proejct to enhance listing in a few months time. Tasks involved: Complete initial set up and website analysis, Propose keywords, Create meta tags for webpages of website, upload meta tags for pages created and get them indexed in search engines. Any other tasks invocled to get the ranking up as soon as possible.
