Alexa App JSON Error/Intent Corrections

Need help correcting two errors in JSON file for Alexa app:

1. Future versions of the Alexa Skills Kit may add new properties to the JSON request and response formats, while maintaining backward compatibility for the existing properties. When we invoke the skill with additional parameters, the skill is rejecting it when we expect this to be accepted. Your code should be resilient to these types of changes. For example, your code for deserializing a JSON request should not break if it encounters a new, unknown property. Invoke with additional params in JSON request: Fail ( StatusCode:200, Response Content:{"errorMessage":"2016-04-08T08:12:[url removed, login to view] 9928f047-fd61-11e5-8ffe-d133f749d7ef Task timed out after 3.00 seconds"}, FunctionError:Unhandled

2. The skill returns an error when it is launched without an intent. Please see the following documentation for how to return responses to request sent by Alexa:

These are very simple errors to fix and should only require about 2 hours to adjust/fix.
