I want to implement a simple algorithm that I have proposed ( Dynamic Resource Provisioning) for efficient VM utilization in Cloud Sim.
It is kind a supply on demand theory where Virtual Machine will be allocated as and when required, also on the other hand VM should be terminated when idle. If the initial Vm are not sufficient to complete given workload of jobs, then we want to start new VM to complete the job within given deadline and budget by user.
For doing this I have created a simple algorithm which checks few criterias and based on results, it either start or destroy [login to view URL] implementing algorithm you can take time and cost deadline asuser inputs, noof jobs as user inputs, and any other variables you can take some static values.
The main idea is to show that if use this algorithm we can get effiecent VM utilization and more jobs can be completed as compared to static resource provisioning. TO simulate you have to create a scenario where jobs are coming randomly and are assigned to VMs (to existing if present or create new if no idle present),and you can set some fix time frame for this job to complete so after that time is passed that job will be considered and completed and that VM will be idle after that.
This is just a heads up idea if you have any other idea you can implement that.
If you have worked with CloudSim prior to this , it would be a cake walk for you as you can make use of sample examples of cloudsim adn add algo implementation into it, that means you will already have some of the functions, properties already there.I will providing the algorithm and if you require to study in detail I can send you the papers as well.
Hi,
I have completed ,customized and integrated ERP with vTiger Project also i have developed android & BB application.
Please let me know when you will available for demo.
Thanks.
Hello niravlvyas, Java needs great knowledge of OOPs concept and we are one with great knowledge of OOPs, lets start to end. Please check PMB for more details.
