A prototype of modular design in maven, spring, hibernate, webwork velocity

I would like to have a very simple sample project written used maven, spring, hibernate, webwork velocity. This project should be structured as modules where one module can refer to services provided by other modules. The modular design will help the code less complicated and easier to maintain.
