Hello.
We are trying to retrieve a node hierarchy using Amazon's Product Advertising API's BrowseNodeLookup method (REST using Java). Individual requests seem to work but if we keep sending requests for various nodes we eventually end up getting HTTP 503 errors.
A post on the [login to view URL] forums indicates that there is a limit of 20 requests per second on sandbox: [login to view URL]
After we put throttling in place we tried limiting code to send 20 requests/sec, as well as 10 requests/sec.
In both cases we ended up getting a 503 errors.
Based on the above, we need a freelancer to create a simple test project that shows that
Amazon's Product Advertising API's BrowseNodeLookup method can be called using multiple
REST requests / sec. In the test cases, we would like to see a range of req/ second
successfully executed (5 req / sec, 10 req / second, 15 req/ second, 20 req /sec, 30 req / second, and so on up to failure). How
many req/second are you able to achieve successfully? This should be done using Java & REST
in the sandbox environment (please also show that this should also work in a production environment).
The deliverable is the working Java project.
