Add psychometric scaling methods to app (Java programming) - repost

Existing application in written in JAVA. App allows experimenter to set up a study with a list of items (words and images), and users (participants) rate to what degree a pair of items in the list are related. A network is then generated. Across participants this relationship is analyzed. Right now the only method of analysis is taking a simple mean. I want the following additional analysis techniques added: 1. Single Linkage method - cluster objects based on the minimum distance between them (also called the nearest neighbor rule) 2. Complete Linkage method - cluster objects based on the maximum distance between them (also called the furthest neighbor rule) 3. Average Linkage method - cluster objects based on the average distance between all pairs of objects (one member of the pair must be from a different cluster)---- (this may be complete already because the mean is taken) You will have to add code for this analysis. Allow user, after they choose ANALYZE, to select which mean of analysis they want to run with checkboxes (so more than one may be selected). Or run all of them and compare the networks. Also provide document which explains each analysis for the user to understand what is happening in the analysis. Additional items: Also during study "setup," I would like there to be an icon placed to the right of any word in the list that has an associated image. User should be able to double-click on the icon and see the associated image. (see attached: AddedPhotoicon). Camera image for icon is attached. -I will provide existing app. -MUST BE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THESE PSYCHOMETRIC METHODS and how it is done so code may be written and analysis is accurate (so network is correct).
