ChatServer

For the assignment you will be required to code a multi-threaded client-server implementation of a message service that enables four online friends to send text messages to each other. A user can choose to send a message to a group of friends or to an individual friend. To use the system a user must firstly logon using a valid username and password. When the username and password have been entered they are encrypted and sent to the server where they are decrypted and validated. If the validation check is passed the user is told which of their friends are online, after which they can start sending and receiving messages. You will be required to code the client component of the game in a file called [login to view URL] and to code the server component of the game in a file called [login to view URL] where the server application is accessible on port 7500. Both the client and server are multithreaded and the underlying communication protocol used is TCP. The username and password should be encrypted and decrypted using [login to view URL] and the text messages sent should be compressed and decompressed using CompressedMessage.java.
