1. Introduction In this project we are going to develop a home temperature detecting station by using Raspberry Pi by taking inspiration from Internet Of Things (IOT). Here we are connecting Raspberry Pi to temperature sensors and light diode through breadboard. Later we communicate with Raspberry Pi using python programming. Let the sensors work and detect the temperature values. The data what we obtained will be streamed to public data stream .Finally we visualize the data in the form of charts. 1.1 Index Terms Raspberry Pi, Internet of Things, temperature sensors, Streaming, Visualization 1.2 Motivation My main motivation for doing this project is to work around the [login to view URL] today’s world the impact of Internet of things is so much high. So much of the work is going to be easy with using [login to view URL] of Things is the evolution of mobile, home and embedded applications which will be connected to the Internet integrating greater computing capabilities and also using data analytics to extract the meaningful information. Here billions of devices are connected to the internet and related devices are connected with each other which perhaps became an intelligent system of systems. These intelligent system of system can share the data over cloud and analyse [login to view URL] transform our lives, our businesses and our lives in to countless ways. For example it include working on medical outcomes, creating better products faster with lower development cost, making shopping more enjoyable, more optimized energy generation and making possible of home monitoring stations. Many big companies are using IOT in a wide range, for example google is dealing a big project called “Brillo” and apple is providing HomeKit platform. Also my interest towards working with Raspberry Pi has motivated me to work in the project. Raspberry Pi is debit card size computer. In the near future all the world is going to work around cloud, big data, security, machine learning and intelligent systems. So I am interested to work around the intelligent of systems. 2. Project Description The main aim of this project is to work around the Internet of things. Here we are developing a home temperature monitoring station by using a Raspberry Pi. Before going deep in to the project we need to know about the Internet of [login to view URL] is an environment in which transfer of data takes place using the internet. “Thing” here any person, any object, any machine, any building and even soil. Simply IOT is interconnecting of things .IOT mainly deals with Machine to Machine interaction. For the Raspberry Pi Model B+ which having 512MB of RAM, two USD ports, Ethernet port and 40 GPIO pins (each pin have their specific meaning including).The first step we need to do is to install Raspbian Operating system in the SD card using [login to view URL] is the officially recommended OS where we can download this from the [login to view URL] . For installing the OS we work around the Linux commands. Next step is to make connections in the bread board using male to male pins ,temperature sensors ,light diode and [login to view URL] making connections successfully we need to install tightVNC Server in our Raspberry pi . VNC is the Virtual Network Computing. This tight VNC server is the graphical desktop sharing system which allows us to remotely control the desktop interface of one computer to another computer. Mainly it is going transmits the keyboard events from the controller and receive updates to the screen over the network from remote host. Through SSH Putty commands we connect to the desktop interface. Next step it to install python programming kit in the Pi. Finally we run the python code to get the temperature levels of the room. These temperature levels are streamed to public stream data using spark streaming and visualize the streaming data in the form of charts.

Hi, how are you. I have developed a work station monitoring temperature and humidity and dht20 DHT11 chip. I have 3 models: with raspberry, banana with pi, and the wifi esp8266 chip. The software is written in python, and can also display it in a web interface. also I have a Java version. I have also already working software and hardware for different "internet of things" devices: rf2.4: rgb bulbes miligth different sendores: pir, distance, etc. with extra soft as VLC no problem. I can install all soft you need thank you

sounds very interesting IOT that is; I would love to get involved somehow; from your description it is not very clear what specific part you need me to play; sounds like python programming to visualize data on RPI?
