Please only continue reading if you are an expert in Java and Java Applets. I have an application that uses a Java Applet to do screenshot capturing of users. You can try out the application by going here: [url removed, login to view] and logging in as an employee. You must have Java enabled. After logging in, click on “Clock In?? and trust the Java Applet to run it. The applet runs continuously until you click on the "Clock Out" button. Password for Administrator and Employees (vWorker 1-5) is: 12345 Please do not change the password. What is happening for some of our users is that the Java Applet will work for some time, and then it will crash the browser. My users have been using Google Chrome. The Java Applet will run flawlessly anywhere from 20-120 minutes before crashing. Many of these users are running Windows XP. I also noticed yesterday that for 2 users, the [url removed, login to view]() was interrupted within the first minute. And after the InterruptedException handling, it seems like the execution exited the infinite while loop because no screenshots were taken after that. This problem does not happen on my computer regardless of whether I use IE, Firefox, or Chrome. I use Windows Vista. I've kept the Java Applet running for 8 hours on my computer, and it worked fine. What I need you to do is figure out why this Java Applet is crashing the browser after some time for my users. Also, why does the sleep thread get interrupted when this application uses a single thread, and how to ensure that if it is interrupted, it does not exit the infinite while loop. I have attached the java code. If you can fix these problem, please bid. Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions.
