Changes to javascript popup sign up modal

I have a javascript email modal pop up that I need some features added to. I need the form when submitted to submit the data but stay on the same page and return a thank you message in the modal.

Requirements:

1. Make submit button bring you to the thanks page (in the modal) like the "Update ThickBox content" link does.

2. Make the grey behind the modal more transparent

3. Make for submit current page URL

4. Add perameter to delay the opening of the modal by a set number of seconds

5. Add a parameter to show on all pages or one certin pages in a specific array list.
