We are looking for for a prototype website (one page only) that uses the Microsoft OCR library on a Windows 2012R2 server with ASP.NET/HTML5 (other suggestions welcome). Please see the attached mockup on how the website can look like - that should make the whole project very clear. OCR library to be used: [login to view URL] Some details: 1. This website is a very basic design, just to load the image and then start the OCR. There are 3 ways to load the image: (a) from harddrive via "browse", (b) from harddrive via drag & drop and (c) via web url. 2. The UI will show an error message if the user uploads wrong file format or wrong size (or anything else goes wrong). The OCR Library limits the minimum dimensions of an image to 40 by 40 pixels, and the maximum dimensions to 2600 by 2600 pixels. 3. The OCR output is shown in a basic text box. 4. During OCR, a progress bar (if possible) or at least a wait symbol is shown. 5. The project (see also the language dropdown) should support all languages that the OCR component supports. Deliverables: 1. Complete project as Visual Studio 2013 project, with detailed instructions on how to install on test server 2. ASP.NET C# needs to compile without warnings 3. Browser support: Required are only latest Chrome, latest Firefox and IE11 4. Server support: Only Windows Server 2012R2 required 5. Ideally you have your own server to host the project during the development so testing can be done much quicker.

Hi! I looked at the mockup which is great! First I would need for us to locate the hosting and I would do the development via remote desktop using Visual Studio and coding it in C#. I can definitely get it to upload and download files for analysis with OCR. Lets talk more about it. I think it would take me a few days to get the prototype working.
