We have an existing web platform built in the Django web framework (Python on the backend. JQuery and Bootstrap for the front end). We are looking for assistance mostly on the front end to enhance existing search functionality.
The attached "TMP Search Wireframe - CURRENT" screenshot outlines the existing functionality. Users currently must scroll through and select all options and click "Search" to retrieve results. When the results are returned, the search criteria is then automatically cleared making it difficult to continually refine the search.
The attached "TMP Search Wiregram - FUTURE" PDF outlines the desired future state of functionality. Instead of having the search criteria as a column on the left of the page, we want to have the search criteria along the top of the page. Three "primary" pieces of search criteria should always be visible, with the rest hidden beneath a collapsable "More" fold. After the base search criteria is met and Search is clicked for the first time, any refinements made to the search should automatically update the results without the need to click the "Search" button again.
This seems mostly a design task with small functionality changes so this is why I made my bid so low. I have previous experience with django, jquery and bootstrap. Please don't hesitate to contact me using the chat.
