Asterisk Installtion with Codec Transcoding

g729 is same as g729a, supported with special module g729b is very rare used and not supported by asterisk g729a/b mean g729a OR g729B, not supported becuase g729b not supported. g711u is ulaw, g711a is alaw - both supported.

Hello, Yes that`s possible, We just need to set the codecs at the peer level and install these codecs in Asterisk and put them to be loaded when asterisk starts. I already worked with Asterisk, as I had a VOIP start up here in Brazil. I also have experience with Linux, well... I use linux even as my personal PC. Thanks.
