I am following an open-source django web project that I want to host on Amazon EC2. I would like someone to produce step by step, line by line instructions for installing the software on a new Ubuntu 12.04 install to make it capable of hosting django applications in general and then I want instructions for uploading and configuring this application on that host.
I need to have the instructions as two seperate pieces: setup a production-quality django server and install this app onto said server.
It would, of course, be nice to have the setup be the smallest, fastest, stablest setup possible, but as long as it is stable and scalable I won't quibble.
I figure if someone is a djangophile this would probably take about an hour or so, but the answers I get on message boards are all "...just install gunicorn with nginx..." or "...using apache in the normal way...", so I really don't have enough information to get this done.
The django project can be found at: [url removed, login to view]
This is very simple task to do. I am a Django user my self and have developed many websites that use Django. I can even install it for you as well as write a guide how to install it again if you ever need to do so.
