Custom Logo for Gaming Site

Hello everyone, I currently own a small gaming site, [login to view URL] (which I haven't updated in about two months unfortunately), that I'm looking to give a complete makeover and sort of "re-launch". The test site that I'm working on is located at g3.acesuite.net. It's very basic because I haven't modded it yet, but it should give you a good idea of the theme with which I am working. I would like both a custom logo and a custom background made for this site. The logo should be cool, gamer oriented, and fit with the general theme of the web site (examples of logos that I like are [login to view URL]'s logo and [login to view URL]'s logo). With regards to the background, I'd like a gaming related background - perhaps a mosaic of well-known characters, or even something like [login to view URL] has where they have their logo over some cool design. Please note that the most important aspect of this project is the logo design, so if you feel that you can do that but not the background, please still bid. Please also note that these must be in PSD format - no exceptions! Portfolios, examples, and mockups are welcome but not required. If you don't have any supporting work, please just give me a rough idea of what you're thinking - or give me another logo that looks kind of like what you would design.
