We have a customer who we are building a Magento website for just now. We will be using Magento 1.9. They have a couple of shops and have a Retail Epos System that is cloud based and provided by a specialist. It is possible to connect the Epos to Magento so that all product information and images is sent from the Epos system to Magento...and Magento can send the orders back to the Epos system. This system works and has been used by other customers of the Epos company. It works using XML and SOAP. We have instructions and examples etc supplied already by the Epos system. This shouldnt be a complicated job for the right Freelancer, we just dont have time to do it.
