Assistant Buyer/Purchaser and Personal Assistant

I am looking for a buyer who can assisted with our companies buying requirements. We are a growing and expanding company with multiple stores and multi channel distribution. We import from the following countries: USA, China, India, Pakistan and Vietnam. We are based and located in Canada. We have a number of well known and respected brands and we are in the sporting good industry. Some of the responsibilities will include: - Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends; - Managing plans for stock levels; - Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products; - Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed; - Participating in promotional activities; - Writing reports and forecasting sales levels; - Liaising with shop personnel to ensure supply meets demand; - Gathering product feedback from customers through website and social media; - Prepare excel file for importing products into database with proper name and suggesting category placement for website. - Use sales data to keep stores up to stock with inventory and place orders on a daily/weekly basis with suppliers. Skills: • Advanced computer skills required, including a solid knowledge Word, Excel. • Strong analytical skills. • Must be detail oriented. • Strong English communication skills required. • Strong trend analysis and problem solving skills. • Strong understanding of E-commerce • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle large volumes of work independently.
