I would like a Matlab implementation of a Cox-Like DCT based watermarking scheme. The relavent paper is attached. For completaion of this project, I would like all (or most sensable) the tests performed in the paper. It would be nice if you could use "matlabpool open" to speed up the simulations, but it is not nesscary.
As far a parameters go, the DCT size should be 16x16. The number of coeffients per block to be modified is the first 9 Jpeg zig-zag pattern (excluding the DC term). The number of DCT blocks to modify depends on the image (but 32 would be a good starting point). The paper uses 0.30 times the Maximum AC Energy (sumed squared coeffients). The "v=(1+alpha*v)" should be the modifcation equation. Alpha, in the paper is 0.1 (a good starting point). Also a binarization of the reference watermark during the simularity computation should be explored (along with the real-valued reference watermark. Seeding the random number generators should be implemented to ensure repeatible results.
The essential watermark technique used here is NOT blind. The reference image is available and used in the extracting / recovery of the watermark signal match
