Android Development - App Optimisation

This project requires a highly skilled Android developer who has had experience with optimising the BitmapFactory API. Currently the application (details will be disclosed only to the winning developer) is in a completed state, however it is unstable. Algorithmically it is perfect, however, the app allocates on many occasions, a large number of bitmap objects. These bitmap allocations are causing incessant (and very sporadic) OutOfMemory Android exceptions. A number of techniques have been employed to fix the issue however none of these have offered a complete solution, they have merely provided fewer instances of the OutOfMemory exception. All Bitmap allocations across the entire app have been wrapped into a custom static class. This will aid you in your modification as you will only need to alter one class to make changes to the allocation of images.
