Functional Requirements:
The Android App will use the built in feature of the *Wi-Fi Tethering API* in **Android OS** and will need to display a list of all clients currently sharing this connection.
For example, if a Samsung S2 phone has Wi-Fi tethering as active, this app should display a list of all devices (such as laptop, PS3, etc.) sharing the Wi-Fi connection from the phone.
Technical Requirements:
The android app should have the following basic features:
1. Display a list of all tethered devices, these can be shown either by an image for each device or simply the name of the device (for example, John's laptop)
2. The user can then select a device from the list and by clicking on the name or icon the following information should be displayed:
- Device Name
- SSID
- Security Type (Open/WEP/WPA/WPA2)
- Password (for WEP/WPA/WPA2 types)
- Tether Type (USB or WIFI)
The app should have two screens in total. The first to show list of tethered devices, the second to show the details of each tethered device. Also, an icon will be required with the name TetherView which will be used when starting the app on the mobile device.
The icon should have the following specs: 512x512, 32-bit PNG with alpha; Max size of 1024KB.
Please note that the app will need root access to the mobile device in order to access WI-FI settings.
