hi, I can do this using kivy (python for cross compatilibility), which can be compiled for both android and IOS, the only disadvantage of this method is that kivy adds 6MB to resulting apk file. This bid is only for a prototype which does what you said, give a list to users to select their course and be able to chat with the classmates.
