Following up a previous project of revamping a website dedicated to psychological testing, I need now a mobile app for a test of intellectual ability.
I've been using the internet to develop tests since late 1999, and it is now time for moving forward to mobile platform. Therefore, I'm looking for a dev to create an app for iOS and another one for Android.
Please see the attached PDF and check how test items are.
Here's a list of what I need to make up the app:
- First of all, I want to receive by email every answer and additional data given by a test-taker.
- Facebook connection and individual record form: in which each test-taker's biographical data is requested (age, gender, education and occupation are the most important to collect).
- Optional 'scores on previously taken tests' form: in which a test-taker who took, for examples of college tests, the SAT or the GMAT, can mention his/her scores so that I will be able to use them in correlation studies.
- A 'core test' of 48 items (cf. [login to view URL]) consisting of different types of questions and without a time limit (most of them need a written answers, but others are multiple choice items)
- An optional test only available for persons > 16 years old and after completion of the 'core test'. This one is divided into 2 parts: (1) verbal problems, all scored 0 or 1, to be completed without a time limit but that stops when a test-taker earns 0 points on each of three consecutive questions and (2) figurative problems (cf. [login to view URL]) with 2 possible attempts that are both timed. In fact, if the test-taker is incorrect at selecting which figure does not belong with the others on the first attempt of 30 seconds, then he/she may try again during 20 seconds. A correct response on the first attempt gives 2 points, and a correct answer on the second attempt gives 1 point. This part of the test stops when the test-taker earns 0 points on each of two consecutive items. Additionally, if possible, I would like to deactivate the optional test.
- A score report page that is providing with an IQ estimate that could be shared on social medias. Moreover, this page should give the possibility for a test-taker to buy a kind of certificate.
