Add PDF listing page to website (vb.net site)

My understanding: I will add a page in admin side to add/update/delete PDF files with their title. Also there will be list of previous uploaded files. I will add a page in the front end (that is non admin side), I will show the uploaded files(new and old(already added)) files for downloading. I will add the already uploaded files to keep track of old files somewhere in database or please suggest Question: Will I show a list in form of paging because there can be numerous files ? Will the information for file name will come from database ? Will I add the already uploaded files in database ? if so, How can I access the file Title ? Database is SQL Server or MySQL ?

From what you wrote I can assure you that: The file search is going to be "on the fly", which means it will show search results without needing to click search and with that refresh the page. I can put a feature so you can categorize your PDFs (eg. For Parents, For Kids and have it nicely done, on the page DWCAONLINE you posted they dont have it categorized so it's not as readable as it should be). Will you have so little pdfs so that you need to have a menu dropdown have them all? I think if you will have alot the page will be enough, especially with the search.
