Create a Mail Manager system for Custom Web App

Background: We have a custom web site application designed for a variety of tasks including sales, accounting, and crm. The site is currently in its first generation and this project will be part of the second version release. Scope of Work: We require a "PostOffice" module to be developed as an add-on to the existing system. The purpose of this module is centralize all of the existing email events, notifications and scripts that are currently being used on the site. We are looking for a new format that will enable us to easily administer all mail settings and configurations, create various email templates, and set rules for trigger events. This scope will also extend the existing functionalities with added features and improved delivery. In addition, this project also includes the development of an internal e-mail messaging system (emails can be sent directly from the system so our staff does not have to switch to outlook or any other mail client). E-Mails are to be logged and saved, similar to most CRM functions (ie. sugarcrm) This project is intended for commercial release so all code must be custom. We have a more detailed Scope of Work which will be given to shortlisted candidates. REQUIREMENTS: - Reply with the word "LAMPSHADE" at the beginning of your bid, so we know that you read the scope of work - Terms of Payment are NON-NEGOTIABLE, BUT MILESTONE DELIVERIES ARE: - 10% Deposit upon project award - 10% Deposit after completion of Milestone1 - 15% Deposit after completion of Milestone2 - 20% Deposit after completion of Milestone3 - 20% Deposit after completion of Milestone4 (Project Delivery) - 25% Balance remaining to be deposited and released upon sucessful testing, bug fixes and installation on our servers. No deposits will be released until final deployment of project on our servers. Our timeline for the entire project is 2 weeks development, and 2 weeks testing. The project will be considered cancelled if delivery is more than 3 days late, and we will not release any payments. This is because we have already alloted for a full extra week (this project should only take 3 weeks) for any issues.
