ASP Date Comparison Function

Hello. I am trying to build an ASP 3.0 (VBScript 5.0) function to figure out the following. I have an event that recurrs every X month(s) starting on a set date. How would I determine if the current date is a date that the event falls on? For example: Start Date: 08/19/2004 Recurrance: 3 months The dates that the event would land on would be: 08/19/2004 11/19/2004 02/19/2005 etc The function would be true if you passed the date 11/19/2004, but false if you passed 12/19/2004 or 11/20/2004 (for example). Also, how would this work if the recurrance is daily, weekly or yearly instead of monthly. Any ideas?
