Basically I would like a Contact Management System. The company basically does party planning for companies. The user will collect information, sends out invoices, makes reports, and get email back and forth. We would like the following:
GUI Side
***Complete integration of email (exactly like Outlook) where we can put in user-names, password and recieve e-mail from them and put them in a tree-node folder
***Collect UserInformation from a client and from his entertainers that he uses
***Creates booking and events and creates invoices and reports
***Sends emails directly through the program, so he does not need outllook all the time
***Do various searches to pull up entertainers
***Make ad-hoc reports
***Quickbooks compatability (if can be done)
Web Side:
***Simple login and registration where users can enter in their information, and update his database with entertainers to use for events
***An admin side with a bit more options
The project has to be done by Dec. 22.
You can write it in any language you wish, it does not have to be .NET.
The major issue is this: He does not have a webserver, so a web hosting company holds the website...I think right now they use PHP..which you can use for the web app. When the user stores info on the database on his server, he wants to be able to update the information on his local database as well. Somone suggested using MySQL for the whole thing, connecting using ODBC and having that database system on his local computer, then doing batch updates through the web server every night.

## Deadline information
I would like to get this in phases if at all possible...the faster the better, my record shows that I am good with bonuses with people.
On a side note...you can go OCX/DLL crazy ;) Use as many as you like, I don't care!
Also, you can use any language you want with this (except Delphi), .NET is fine and would even be better :-)
