Community Database Site

This is a project that was started and not completed. I need a programmer to pick up where the other left off. What I have already: * mock-up of the home page * flash intro for the site for early sign-up before the site is complete that is about 75% complete. Besides from this, I have no specific needs for flash. I am open regard to the creativity of the coder. My expectation is that once the site is up and running, the site opens directly to the home page. I do not need a separate intro. The site is a database oriented community site. The site was started using php and MySQL. My understanding is that this is best for this type of site. Please correct me if you think otherwise. **Very Important.** Upon acceptance, buyer and coder must immediately discuss project plan. Expectation is that coder will commence project immediately and provide reports of progress every three days. I would like to see "betas" of what you are working on. Expectation is that work will be performed on a daily basis. You will receive FTP account to upload what you do and test and I would like to see the tests updated at least every three days. I communicate on this site using the Reply function and/or chat. I am usually available 12 to 16 hours each day except Saturday days. Please propose your start date in your bid response and your availability and plan for approaching the project. A good response is one that tells me your experience on each feature, how you plan to develop each feature, your strong points and weaknesses (ok if you have some, just admit up front) your start date and what you hope to accomplish week by week i.e. which deliverables will be done when and what you need from me up front and during the project. Please note: I am very hands-on and like to be informed. However, I do not like to crowd the coder. If I know what they are doing when and how they like to work, this helps me to let you do your thing when you need to. ## Deliverables Project can be broken down into phases if skill level or budget requires. I can re-edit request to meet availability deadlines, skill level e.g. someone can do excellent work in several, but not all areas because of expertise, budget or availability. It is important that I get someone who is responsible, will communicate and can actually do the kind of work they claim and is required by the project. I am open to positions regarding whether this site is better suited to ASP or PHP. Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. 4). Website text, images and links added to site. 5). Add up to 20 web pages for free. 6). Optimize site for search ranking. 7). Optimize site for fast loading. 8. Integration of secure & friendly shopping cart into website using iBill.com. This site does not sell products directly. The code for the shopping cart is on ibill website. 9). All website software, tools, etc., programmed in-house 10) 3 mth free maintenance & support. 11) Anything you do in this project is part of deliverables. Any mockups, final form graphics, flash source code, HTML, binary files, please attach everything to a ZIP file and make part of deliverable. Coding must be according to Industry Standard with no third party components unless we discuss otherwise e.g. certain customizable templates for the bulletin board might make work more cost effective and cut out unnecessary effort. 12) Daily progress reports. What you have done, plan to do and what you need for me with some reasonable notice so that I can provide is as you need it in the most complete form possible. Let me know as soon as possible, if you do not understand something or need to make changes to a previously committed course of action. I like to be organized and a roadmap, but I am not inflexible and want to work in a way that lets the coder breathe and enjoy working on the project. I am also open to suggestions. Scalability is important. Project can be downsized if coders have only specific expertise or feel that the budget limitations permit them to do better work on fewer items.
