I am creating a web-based, stats-based, multi-player American Football simulation game that is played completely over the internet, similar to the "Fantasy Football" leagues that are quite popular in America except that my game will use computer/user generated stats (as well as other variables) instead of real-life players' stats. I'm looking for someone to write a program in either C++ or Java (preferrably C++) that will alow me to take the data that has been submitted by my users (such as players speed, stamina, awareness, etc.) and generate not only the outcome of the game, but also detailed statistics about the game (i.e. who scored, when they scored, who got injured, when they got injured, how long they're out for), as well as a play-by-play text-commentary for the game that was simuated. I need this simulation program to either update my SQL database automatically with the results of the game or store the results in a separate file or whatever where i have access to them so that I can update the database with my scripting language (vbscript).
## Deliverables
Simulation program written in either C++ or Java (preferrably C++) that does the following: "simulates" an American Football game based on the rules that I indicate (either college rules or professional rules) generates the outcome of the game as well as detailed player stats and detailed game stats updates the SQL database automatically or provides the data via other accessible means so that I can update the database myself generates a play-by-play commentary of the game (MOST IMPORTANT!!!)
## Deadline information
The description given above is my ideal simulation program. I understand that this may be too big of a task for a single coder to tackle, so I am willing to negotiate on some of the conditions that I have set forth; for example, if the coder is able to generate just the play-by-play commentary, I would accept that and pay a proportional amount of the fee. As well, if the coder has any other suggestions as to how I might be able to accomplish the task of simulating these football games without such a complicated program, I may be willing to listen.
