We need two functions: 1) a function that would read xml and 2) a function that would generate json
You can use c++, java, php or js as the programming language and any tool/library you deem fit for the project.
Here is the signature (pseudo-code declaration in c++) of these functions: [if you use java or php or js, of course, these would be slighly different]
struct Element { }
struct textElement : public Element { wstring text; }
struct simpleElement : public Element { wstring name; wstring value; }
struct complexElement : public Element { wstring name; vector<shared_ptr<Element> > entries; }
complexElement parsexml(const wstring& xmlcontents);
wstring generatejson(const complexElement& data);
However, for testing purposes, we need you to implement two more functions 1) that would read json and 2) generate xml.
complexElement parsejson(const wstring& jsoncontents);
wstring generatexml(const complexElement& data);
To prove that your code works, we will do the following with few xml files.
convert < [login to view URL] > [login to view URL]
convert < [login to view URL] > [login to view URL]
canonicalxml [login to view URL] > [login to view URL]
canonicalxml [login to view URL] > [login to view URL]
compare [login to view URL] [login to view URL]
To do so, provide a test executable called convert.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
