I'm looking for a custom presentation ocx. This custom control will contain a programmable number of pages (page navigation by code only) which contain a programmable number of fields which will be represented to the user as labels, or edit boxes, or picture boxes (the picture box control will need to support at least jpg images, and maybe other formats). Each field also needs to have a caption associated with it that can be positioned to the left or top of the field (by a programmable number of twips) or hidden. The fields must be programmable as to their location within a page. This control must be resizable at design and runtime. It does not need to store configuration information other than size from design time, all display and field position information will be supplied at runtime. The control will need to run in 3 modes... view, edit and configure. In the view mode all fields that aren't pictures are represented as labels. In the edit mode all fields that aren't pictures are represented as text boxes and their contents are editable. In the configure mode, all fields (and captions and picture boxes) are moveable, allowing the user to configure the screen. In addition fields can be added or removed from a view page. Optionally, I'd like to be able to tile an image into the client area of the control, but this isn't a requirement.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
This ocx will be incorporated into a VB6 application and needs to run on Win 9x+ machines, and Win NT + machines.
## Deadline information
The deadline is negotiable and to be agreed upon at time of bid acceptance... whatever we agree on you must meet. Please let me know what date you believe that you could have this completed by. I am a software engineer myself, I'm just too busy to do this right now... I'll expect excellent communication, well documented source code (detailing why, not what) and the control must have good to excellent performance with no drawing issues. I'm open to considering what language it is to be written in... you tell me what you think would be best/fastest and easiest.
