We are looking for an experienced c++ programmer who is comfortable with both linux (gcc) and windows (ms visual studio). If you are profecient in c++ templates, virtual functions, xml and web services, this project is for you. The project is providing a console application that can access files stored at Amazon S3 (<[login to view URL]>) There is no gui development. Most of the task is related to providing amazon s3 authentication. The project will use third party libraries (e.g., tinyxml, libcurl, etc.) for most of the underlying code. The exact project spec will be provided to interested parties. We need you to be comfortable with source control (svn), unit testing (unittest++), issue management (mantis), document generation (doxygen). You dont need to know this tools. However, if you ask "what is unit testing", this project is not for you. Please do not apply if you are a company (we are looking for freelancers). You cant image how many people apply to RAC projects without reading the project description at all. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
