Custom module for Drupal 6 and Drupal 7

I need a custom module to be compatible with both Drupal 6 and Drupal 7. The module will capture the analytics data of each user who visits the site including the referring web site or search engine. For search engine traffic it will capture the "search term" that the user searched for. For Google it can be retrieved by reading the ?q= variable. Once the information is captured, it will be saved in the database in 2 tables. One will be a log table that will capture and insert every entry with a date and timestamp along with the source of traffic and search term if any. The second table will maintain the referring DOMAIN NAME, SEARCH TERM and COUNT. So if 10 users searched for term "hot bread" on [login to view URL] it will maintain it as: ID | DOMAIN NAME | SEARCH TERM | COUNT 1 | [login to view URL] | Hot bread | 10 for the 11th user with same info, it will just increase count to 11. For a different search term, it adds a new row. That is simple. Need a report section where all this data can be seen and sorted by either domain name, or search term, or search count, etc. NEXT Next step is once the user is identified and entry is entered into the table, get the ID of the row in which it was inserted, and make it available to a variable that can be used on the page. For example I have a page called [login to view URL] and on that page I have a link to my site [login to view URL] I want to dynamically insert the ID of the user at the end of that link by using a PHP or JavaScript variable. So in the above example, the link on my page will become: [login to view URL] This is one part of the module. The second part is the tracking module. More specs will be provided later but how it will work is that I will get a csv file with IDS in it. We need to import this file, fetch the "ID" variable from this file and add it to a new table called Conversion Report. This information will be added to the reports page and we need to show the domain and search term for each ID by referencing our table that stores the data.
