To gauge article comment activity on news sites, we want to automatically copy article comments from 4 set web pages, and save the comments in the RSS format locally. Any language and database variant is acceptable. The four websites, which are all Swedish, are: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] We want the system to work like this: 1. Via the index page, choose to either list existing projects or create new projects a. If “existing projects?? is selected, a hyperlinked list of project names link to the RSS feed for that project 2. To create a new project: a. The following is inputted manually: i. Name of project ii. URL to any or all of the above listed websites SPECIFIC ARTICLE URL iii. Update rate ??" i.e. how often should the tool check for new comments (can be 5 different options) iv. End date ??" i.e. when should the tool stop checking for new comments The tool therefore must be able to on four different websites identify comments, copy them, and present them in a gathered form in RSS format. Examples of articles with comments: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] So, to clarify: I would paste the above four URL:s into the system, and it would return a single RSS feed with the comments found there.
