Well I work for the company American Digitizing we do various digitizing projects for the geophysical and law communities.? The objective of the cartoon is to illustrate our business and how we digitize the logs, so they don't have to use paper and can do it digitially.
What I need done is a vector illustration for a B&W newsletter [but will also use for (RGB) website].? We deal with paper logs that are about 8 feet long and have seismic readings on them.? If you would like to see a sample log you can e-mail me.
What I would like the cartoon to depict is the headaches that all this paper is.? Having the little character holding a log and making it look overwhelming.?
The visual idea I am getting is sort of like Santa Clause holding his bad or nice list and how its a scroll and the paper is so long it keeps bending over and over and over.
The illustration should show how the character is drowning in the paper logs he is messing with.
Another idea for the cartoon to meet its objective would be to show the overwhelming of logs, and the character feeding it into a computer with an image on the screen similair to the digitze curves on ([[login to view URL]][1]).
**One thing I will need is a portfolio or proof of skill.**
For any further questions or interest in the project, comment and I will respond asap. If you are wondering what dimensions the cartoon needs to be in, it will be featured in a bottom half newsletter.
Thanks for your time,
David W. Patrick
