Auction Web Crawler (AWC) Auction site(s) web crawler application. AWC is a web application that crawls an auction site based on information entered by the user and searches for item based on user criteria. AWC will display item(s) when found. Also this application will have an auto feature that will allow saving of the search criteria with an option to search in auto mode at specific times, e.g. Search for 9” blue plates every Monday at 6pm and store results. This application will need some kind of data logging, not sure if it is a database (SQL) or just logging to file, but still retrievable by the application as needed. The DB can be discussed with developer. Also need ability to monitor selected auctions and record winning bids or last high bid before auction end. Possible future enhancements: Allow search of multiple auctions sites, with listings or said sites and ability for user to select sites as desired. Selected developer/company will have to sign a NDA.
