Convert pdf to text using PHP

I need an excellent php library to convert pdf files to text files. The library should be able to retain the original positions of text in the pdf during conversion and should also work with any pdf version.

The library must be written in PHP and must not require shell access. It will be tested on my online server to ensure it works. The library DOES NOT have to be written by you.

Please bid only if you have used any library that fulfills all requirements. Include "xpdf" in your proposal to ensure you have read requirements.
