I purchased the [login to view URL] software. I want to allow users to record a five-minute message and then send it to me via e-mail. Javasonics provided an example of how to do this, (Vmail -included in zip) but not being a programmer, I am struggling with it.
I have the applet configured so it will create and save the .spx sound file to the server. You can see it at: <[login to view URL]>. However, I cannot get it to attach the sound file to an e-mail and send it to me. My modification of the [login to view URL] is also in the zip. I have modified the beginning of this script to connect it to the applet fields. The mail attachment stuff is near the end. I have not modified that.
Also, I would like to convert the SPX to a least a wave file and better to an MP3 file before it is attached to the e-mail. How to do this is explained in the Docs section of the [[login to view URL]][1]web site.
