A Java Web-Start (WS) and JFrame-Swing Project

**In need of a good Java Programmer/Swing designer to build controls for:** **1. Setting the beginning date: a. Year b. Month c. Day** **2. Setting the duration of the hike (note that different hikes have different duration options).** **3. Submitting the query (please use a JButton)** **4. Showing the results (please do not use a JButton) : Total Cost** Some of the programming work has already been done! Attached are 2 java classes and website files to use with this project. **- Program will be part of a website ([login to view URL] and css files attached). - Program needs to build using Java 6.0 or Later. ** **- Needs to build in Netbeans IDE on a Windows XP or Later OS. ** **PLEASE SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS FOR MORE PROJECT DETAIL.** ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). **SOME OF THE WORK HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE FOR THIS PROJECT. The application should not "break" when typing incorrect data into the input fields. In addition, please use **JOptionPanes** to inform the website user of what went wrong and how they should fix it. In other words, please do not just say an error has occurred without telling the website visitor what happened. 2**. You must let the user know what you expect them to enter (i.e., require two digits for a month). ** **3. Please DO NOT use the GridLayout because it does not look good. ** **Deliverables:** **Once the Java Web-Start application is ready, please update the attached website [login to view URL] file using JFrame that will hold the controls for the website user.
