adding features to existing website and debug the errors in php and java applets

We already have a website i need to add download & upload applet to it, we have upload applet source code so we need it to integrate with our site, the site is totally dynamic and works on ftp (for uploading and download) 1. In admin panel, we take user details of users including ftp details and path for upload and download(in local system), so when user downloads it has to take path from data base where we take the download path similarly for upload. and i don't want any any browse button , i just need only 2 buttons upload and download and there respective progress bar, 2. and i wants to show individual reports regarding upload and download. 3. we have 3 different categories. doctor, secretary and admin, case 1. similar group of doctor uploads files from there individual login to site and admin downloads those [login to view URL] that and then uploads a processed files to a particular folder in ftp, and secretary of that group downloads that particular files. for every thing we have defined paths, where we already included in the site. we have already build the site in php, and we used java applet for uploading and downloading, i where download is not working, i want you to make a new download applet. i want it to be done very fast, since all the site is already build, i want it to be enhanced more.
