Hi - This is a project that we are doing to calculate the fuel consumption. The device captures the fuel level from the vehicle and is reported as shown in the 'Typical Data' picture. The requirement is noted in "Notes" tab of the spreadsheet. Only those who have worked with statistical functions may come forward as I am looking to have this as early as possible. Following are the deliverable expected from this project. For any two time coordinate selected, the report attached as per the file "report-Required" should be generated 1. Report individual fuel thefts and fills and the summary 2. Report the total fuel consumption Anyone with thorough expertise in any of PHP, Perl, Java and Python and who have dealt with statistical functions may attempt though preference will be given for expertise in Java technologies.. The sample data file will be shared during the bidding phase with the bidders.. Thank you.

You are right, to extract data from a mysql server, one way is using php with queries, it is required login (user/pass) , database and the table where there is the data. that is all. I have works on Excel using macros and form, also I have expertise on Python PHP and Javascript so as you see I have the required knowledge for your project, my works have quality and warranty, check my portfolio and reviews.

Hi I have around 5 year of experience in Perl. I started my career as statical analyst for data reserch company. I would like to know more about the project kind of analsis you want to make on data . From the image provided , It seems you have time series data , that need to be classified for certain timestamp or time interval of the series as tank refill or theft. Then give a general report.
