I have a video sharing website powered by ClipShare 4.1
This is a bunch of php and SMARTY scripts, that acts in a similar way to YouTube.
Registered users upload a video file, which is picked up by ClipShare, transcoded using mencoder and the transcoded file left in a FLVIDEO directory on the web server.
From here, players view the content using JWPLAYER streaming it to their machines using lighttpd.
Because of bandwidth constraints, I want to move the streaming of the content to the Amazon Cloud system.
I have setup an S3 bucket, and configured a public streaming cloudfront account.
I want someone to do two things for me:
1) find a way to change the clipshare script to put the transcoded file on S3. This may be done by changing the ClipShare script or by regularly running a bash script to move the transcoded flv files to Amazon, I am open to suggestions.
2) configure the player to stream from Cloudfront using RTMP.
I would prefer someone with knowledge of ClipShare, but if you have knowedge of Video Sharing sites, I am happy to hear from you.
I have remote root access to my web server for you.
