Alphabetic sorting for international languages

We have products in different languages like English, Hindi, Spanish, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, Portuguese. We can display the alphabetic sorting A to Z and also define alias phonetic A to Z for other languages and sort. But, we want the real alphabetic sort of these international languages. We need the function in PHP that can help. Also, we have lots of products so you need to code the sorting function in a way that it is performance friendly.
