Aweber API Integration to Membership site

I want to be able to integrate my aweber with my membership site, so members can opt-in to my list, while also becoming a member at the same time. Any kind of integration would be done with Aweber API.

The programmer would need to register for a free developer account at [url removed, login to view]

to set this up.

Basically, I want the new member to be automatically added to my aweber email list after registration on my website. I am hoping to make it a one-step process because a double opt-in would be too confusing. I asked aweber and they said the programmer would need to use API.

I would prefer someone that has done this kind of thing before, or worked with aweber API's.

I will not respond to auto-generic messages. Please tell me straight if you have had experience doing this before, or similar and can do it.
