Hi, I have a PHP script that I paid another freelancer to write. I need this PHP script to be converted into a Wordpress plugin. This PHP script collects online pledges for a campaign and stores a few pieces of data for each pledge into a MySQL database. The PHP script also has an admin section to view the entries, as well as a map/graph that shows up on the main page (or from wherever I call it) that displays the pledges so far. So I'm working with a website that is using Wordpress and I need the functionality of this PHP script inside the Wordpress pages. The script would need to function as usual and be able to work within the wordpress site. PLEASE reply if this is within your capabilities. I did read online that it is rather simple to do if you know PHP but when I took a look I got lost as I am only familiar with PHP and not a professional. PLEASE only reply if you can get the job done within 1 day as I'm in a sort of rush with this. Thanks

Hello I've read what your script does and indeed been a php script it will be kind of easy to make it a Wordpress plugin. My idea for the plugin is this: The plugin will create a shortcode in order for you to place the form whenever you need/want and in the backend a new menu option will be created where you will have the admin section of the script.

Hello, I am new to freelancer.ca but have been a web developer for almost a decade. I have extensive WordPress theme and plugin development experience. I have successfully integrated many third party databases and API's with WordPress and feel that this project is a perfect fit for my skill set. My approach would be to create a plugin with a custom settings page ( if required ) that would either create a custom table or use a custom post type to store the data being stored about the pledge - this would depend on the the scope of the data and of course your approval. The timeline of 1 day is quite quick and I feel that in order to create a functional product that is well testinged, it just may not be enough time. With project where data capture is required, it is imperative that there are no bugs as you can re-capture that data.
