Developer with price comparison website experience needed

We are looking for a developer with experience of price comparison websites to help solve some problems we are having with an existing price comparison website. The task is initially to work as a consultant, i.e. help us to come up with the solutions to our problem.
The main problem we are having is linking products together from different stores, when the stores are not providing EAN or ISBN numbers in their data feeds. Some stores do provide this information, but some don't, making it difficult to link products together.
There are other features on price comparison websites that we would like to explore further.
In this project we are basically paying for your expertise and experience of price comparison websites and your time to help guide us to suitable solutions. Depending on the solutions, we may also hire you in a separate project to actually implement these solutions.
