I am looking for a PHP front-end with an AJAX-enabled TEXTAREA which is connected to a daemon process (written in any language, such as Java, Python, Perl, C, C++, or whatever else, but let me know in or before your bid). The daemon will handle several different "sessions", each of which are associated with an executed command, which runs interactively. Basically, the AJAX textarea would be connected to the executed command, and when the user enters text in the textarea, the PHP would pass this on to the control daemon, which would in turn send it to the STDIN of the running command. If the command's STDOUT contains anything new, the control daemon would remember that. When the AJAX textarea refreshes, the PHP would ask the control daemon, which would return the current output of the command (with the normal input as well, I suppose - maybe use pseudo terminals???).
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Linux, optionally Windows as well; Would prefer PHP and Java or some combination like that, maybe Perl. Let me know what is possible. Needs to be AJAX and function in major browsers such as IE6, IE7, Firefox 2.0, etc. Separate sessions would need to be handled, each with a different command - make the script flexible so that I can change this and it can be integrated.
