I need a simple Android app for my online magazine.
This is what I am looking for:
When the user installs the Android application I'd like them to see a screen with a list of issues they can access. When they click on the issue it takes them to a new screen where they can scroll through the pages.
I'm not too familiar with the Android system. I have an iPhone app version of the Magazine which functions like this:
The app reads a list of the available issues from an xml file. Every time the user accesses the app it reads the xml file to see if there are any new issues.
When a user accesses an issue (on the iphone app) the issues are downloaded and stored into the phone's cache. This way, once an issue has been downloaded, the user can view the issue without an internet connection. Each page of the issue is essentially an html file which calls up text and image.
If you have experience with Android apps please bid or ask a question if needed.
Thanks
